2021 Highlights
First-ever book reading hosted by Books, Inc. Alameda. Thank you Books, Inc. Alameda for supporting a female-owned, small business in Alameda!
Received three awards: Two gold Mom's Choice Award, a Royal Dragonfly Award and a Readers' Choice Book Award. Winning these awards reinforces the need for hopeful stories about nature and the great outdoors.
Eleven Western National Park Association stores support and/or sell my books. It means the world to me that my stories are compelling for park rangers and park visitors across the U.S.
So far, 17 stores in 7 states sell my books. I hope my journey will teach kids that anything is possible as long as they work hard and believe in themselves.
I jumped in feet first and haven't looked back (ok, well maybe I looked back a little): This adventure was launched with my own savings account, while enduring a pandemic, homeschooling for over a year, and working a full-time job. Why make it easy, right? Well, I sure could use an easy button in 2022...
